The Moscow Transport Museum has just opened a new exhibition at VDNH Park that celebrates the history of the Soviet Moskvitch car.
The exhibition space at VDNH is divided into four rooms designed by some of Russia’s most popular contemporary artists as well as a theater designer and architect.
The collection of Moskvitch production cars, prototypes and racing cars is presented in such a setting for the first time. In total, the exhibition features 30 exhibits from the collection of the Moscow Transport Museum and more than 300 rare artifacts. Among them are such cars “Moskvitch-422”, “Moskvitch-408”, as well as personal belongings of A.F. Androno, the chief designer of the plant .
